Overview

Th aim of this course is to provide learners with in-depth, detailed and advanced scholarship of the Islamic intellectual tradition. During this course, a detailed study of Quranic Exegesis (Tafsir) and Hadith literature is undertaken by learners. Texts studied includes the six canonical books of Hadith (Al-Kutub al-Sittah). Emphasis is placed on giving learners an understanding of comparative law exploring evidences and arguments from the different Maddhahib (schools of thought).  

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be awarded with a certificate in Advanced Islamic Scholarship receiving their Shahadah Al-‘Alimiyyah (Licence in Islamic Scholarship).

The course is open to both male & female.

On-Site

Lessons are all conducted on-site.

Evenings

Lessons take place in the evenings, allowing a great opportunity to working professionals, college and university students.

3 Years

This is a 3 year part-time course.

English

The entire curriculum is taught in the English & Arabic medium.
